I have coached fitness classes for over 10 years, with the last 4+ at Orangetheory Fitness. After having my first daughter in 2014 I became interested in how tracking macronutrients (proteins, carbs, and fats) can help fuel me for the gym and help me achieve my fitness and personal goals. It was the first time I witnessed so much fat loss and muscle gain/definition than anything I had previously tried.Since then I decided to learn more about macros by gaining certification in Total Body Transformation and Precision Nutrition. This certification gave me the skills and understanding to coach clients on how to track macros, in combination with a fitness plan, in order to reach fitness and physique goals.I truly believe the best way to reach your goals is to start being aware of what you are putting in your body and avoiding restrictive diets. The solution is a sustainable macro focused diet that adjusts with you.
